About
A listing should tell you what you are buying.
Most second-hand hardware is sold on a blurry photo and a one-line caption. This catalogue exists because that is not enough information to spend real money on.
The process
Tested before listed, described before sold
Every unit is bench-tested before it is photographed. Systems get a four-hour stress pass and a benchmark run. Cards are checked for mining wear and thermal history. Peripherals are tested for the failure they are known for — double-clicking on mice, drift on sticks, seal on earpads.
Whatever the test finds goes into the condition report, including the things that would be easier to leave out. A faint scratch described in advance costs nothing; a faint scratch discovered at the meet-up costs the sale.
Common questions
How buying works
Yes, and you should. Bring what you need to check it — a phone for a card, a laptop for a mouse or keyboard. Prebuilt systems can be booted and benchmarked at the meet-up.
Usually SM North or Trinoma in Quezon City. Graded cards and anything above ₱30,000 are handed over at a bank, never at a home address.
For small items, yes, through a courier with insurance and an unboxing video on both ends. Systems and monitors are pickup only — couriers are hard on them.
Brand New is sealed. Like New has been used but shows nothing. Used — Excellent has light wear that is described in the condition report. Used — Good works perfectly but shows its age. For Parts does not fully work, and the listing says exactly what is wrong.
